Job Description
In charge of creating Taiwanese pastries and Western baking
- Responsible for creating a full bread and pastries production line with the Managers
- Responsible for smooth operation of the above
- Responsible for creating a costs schedule for products
- Sourcing equipment
- Ability to run a production line
- Mix baking ingredients
- Create production schedule to determine variety and quantity of goods to bake
- Create protocol/recipes for each product
- Measure and mix ingredients to form dough or batter, following recipes
- Place dough in pans. Molds or on sheets and bake in oven. Observe products while cooking and adjust controls.
- Use a variety of kitchen tools, including electric mixers, pans, rolling pins, and cutting tools
- May develop new recipes
- Monitor baking process to identify needed adjustments
- Get information from production schedules and recipes
- Handle and move ingredients, tools, and cooking pans.
- Control mixing processes and oven controls
- Implement products by following recipes or creating new ones
- Training staff
- Cleaning baking tools used
- Interacting with customers and introducing them to your product
